Calabria Region

The Calabria Region, by means of the competent office, activated operations of the cooperation in the communitarian programme Interreg since 1999, with administrative act "Delibera Giunta Regionale n. 3718 del 29.12.1999 e n. 3712 del 22.11.1999", with project of the has coordinated at national level, the Project "Development of Touristic Communication and Information Networks" denominated "Ulysses's Ports", sub-action n. 4.1 and partecipated as partner in the others two Project, precisely, "Protection of threatened endemic species" area 2.1 and "Enhancement of the environment as a factor of development in the mediterranean space" area 2.2.

In the programming period 2004/2006, the Sector n. 9 "International affaires and relationships" of the Calabre Region is participating at the Programme Interreg IIIB - Medocc, with six Project two as national coordinator, ("URBACOST", Asse 2 - Mis. 2.1 e "RISCMASS", Asse 4 Mis. 4.3) and others four as partner (La Tela di Aracne; Rural-med II; Restauronet; Remomed).

The Calabre Region is Participating also in the section C "interregional cooperation" of the Interreg III, with regional operation executive cadres, as transactional coordinator, in the space Zona Sud, the title respectively: "City to City" e "Valorisation ?conomique du patrimoine naturel et culturel des montagnes m?diterran?ennes - MEDITERRITAGE".
